The house of the vats

During the mediaeval period one of the important region farming was already the vineyard. But from the 18th century, in the Bages area and precisely in Cabrianes city, the crop pioneered a great expansion. In “Cal Sidru”, placed in the heart of the Plan of the Bages and where the vintage was made and wine was extracted, the vestiges of that time are still preserved in the form of the vats where the grape was put.
The house is very well communicated. It is placed in the crossroads between the roads C-16 and C-25, about 45 minutes from Barcelona down town. Its situation, in the kernel of Cabrianes, term of Sallent city, with 300 inhabitant’s aprox. converts it in the ideal place to carry out every type of strolled excursions, routes in mountain bike, o lamb to relax enjoying the landscape and the sights in Montserrat Mountain. Every year, in October, there is an international trial of classical motorbikes. Many fans of the motorbikes come from many places around the world.
All the services like bakery, food store, local meat of own making, tobacconist's shop, cafe-restaurant, can be found in town.
